If you wish to hold a camera with your Flexi Phone Holder, you will need a DSLR adaptor to screw into the bottom of your camera. The DSLR adaptor consist of a sturdy carbon filled nylon plate with either one or two of the Fidlock Phone Patches attached to it. The Phone Patches use magnets to locate the adaptor on your Flexi Phone Holder, which then creates a secure vacuum seal. The seal can be released by pressing on the lip to release the vacuum. They can be easily used by those with reduced hand function.
Two options are available:
A Single DSLR Adaptor for those who are using a single Flexi Phone Holder. The Adaptor comes with a 3/8″ long 1/4″ UNC setscrew that is fixed into the plate. It comes with a Fidlock Phone Patch already installed for easy connection to your Phone Holder. To install the adaptor, simple rotate it to screw it into the hole in your camera.
A Double DSLR Adaptor for those who are using two Flexi Phone Holders for extra security and stability. We would recommend this if you are using a camera with a long lens. The double adapter can either be located across the camera body or along the lens depending on which direction you need the most stability. The setscrew is located centrally to allow this.
If you wish to hold your camera at eye-level, then additional Flexi Tube Links can be purchased. We would recommend using two Flexi Phone Holders and the Double DSLR adaptor for stability, if you are doing this.
