Resting Hand Splint

Description

This hand splint is ideal for reducing flexion contractures and helping to maintain strength and comfort in your hand after a stroke or other injury. 

It has 5 soft, adjustable straps that hold your arm, wrist, hand and thumb into the brace. This gently stretches out your fingers. The wrist strap is optional but it helps to hold your wrist against the brace for better positioning.

The hand splint is covered in generous padding meaning it is comfortable to wear day or night. The fabric is breathable and the brace has air holes to allow air flow and to prevent sweating.

The splint works well for Stroke, Arthritis, Brain Injury, Tendonitis, Carpal Tunnel Pain, Parkinsons and to support breaks. It can decrease pain and inflammation by keeping fingers, thumb, and wrist secured in a functional resting position.

If you suffer from arthritis you may find that wearing a resting splint helps to:

• reduce wrist and hand pain
• rest and support your wrist and hand in the correct position
• reduce swelling and morning stiffness

The resting hand splint comes in two sizes: small and standard/ large. The small size is suitable for children over 7 and small adults. The standard/large size is suitable for most adults. Please see the dimensions in the size tab above.
