Description
Those with reduced hand function can dine with dignity with this elegantly designed cutlery with loops. Simply adjust the loops on either side of the item of cutlery to fit your finger and thumb. This allows you to get a firm hold while you eat.
Designed to look as similar as possible to regular cutlery, these utensils are elegant – unlike many other dining aids. Perfect for taking out to a restaurant discreetly.
Just twist each utensil to meet your specific grip and strength. A person with no grip has the ability to “hold” these utensils while eating with no assistance. An assistant can easily adjust the flexible loops to fit the individual’s hand size and condition.
The Everyday Set comes with a knife, fork and spoon and a free easy-open, washable pouch for taking your cutlery out to dinner with you. The black pouch has a ring at either end of the zip and a loop to allow you to open it with reduced hand function. You can also buy a storage pouch separately.
The Small Set contains a small fork and teaspoon. This set is designed for children. Save over buying the two items separately!

Tried it with my paralysed right hand – didn’t work for me.
Managed to get the spoon fairly tightly griped around my thumb & index finger. However, try actually eating anything from the spoon, without spilling everything down your chin! The angle of the spoon is way off & so unfortunately I wasted my money on this overpriced item.

I love them! With the cutlery, I can go out, and people don’t look at me, because if you are far enough, it looks “normal.” I use them since about half a year and actually reorderd to have a second set. The sets are used daily and I wash em in the dishwasher, they don’t seem to mind.
But I would recommend you only order the if you still have some function in your hands, since it was really hard using it, after a plexus block for a CPS operation.
For example I have 2/5 in my left hand and 3/5 in my right.
